SRYA has a 5-6 year old only junior clinic for boys and girls. This program will focus on them having fun while we teach them the fundamentals of basketball and sportsmanship. They will be taught all the positions on the court. Everyone gets to play all positions, guard, forward and center. Each child uses a basketball which will be a 27.5 junior size. They will shoot at an 8’ basket. The kids get split into groups for practices and games (not set teams). Practice will be 1 night per week and games will be played on Saturday. Games will be played at Central Elementary School. The season starts the 3rd week in November and will end on late February or early March. Games will begin the 1st weekend in January after holiday break.
The registration fee is $70. A jersey will be supplied to each child for practice and games, they will be returned at the end of season. Registration is open. When registering online, please be sure to choose the junior clinic option. Please register ASAP.
