Registration is open for the 2011 Winter Basketball program.
Senior Clinic is for boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 7 years old and beginner 8 year olds. We focus on teaching the kids good sportsmanship and the fundamentals of basketball to prepare them for the next level. They will use a 28.5 ball and shoot at a 9’ basket. We will divide them by level to form 2 different divisions. Everyone participating in practice will receive equal playing time in the games. Practice is 1 night per week and games are played on Saturday. Games are played at Central Elementary or Edgewater Elementary. Some coaches may request a Sunday practice time, this will not be mandatory, it will be time for extra help. The season starts the 2nd week in November and will end in late February or early March. Games will begin the 3rd week in December.
Registration fee is $70. A jersey will be supplied to each child for games, they will be returned at the end of season.
