Players:
South River Youth Athletics (SRYA) Seahawks Football has teams for players starting from age 6 and up to age 14. SRYA Seahawk's home field is at Edgewater Park.
Registration is open for 2010 Fall Football SRYA Registration. The fee for football is $175.00 plus a deposit for uniforms and equipment. SRYA football commissioner is Chris Mercurio and the Assistant Commissioner is Kevin Stokes.
Coaches for the 2010 Football Season:
- Erik Grambo - 70 lb. team
- Charlie Garfolo - 80 lb. team
- Jon Jameson - 80 lb. B team
- Mike Sweeney - 90 lb. team
- Chris Mercurio - 100 lb. team
- Van Henson - 100 lb. B team
- Scott Lewis - 11U
- Ron Madden - 12 U
- Kevin Stokes - 13 U
- Al McIntire - Freshman team
Important Dates for the 2010 Football Season:
- July 19th, 1st day of practice (no equipment, just cleats)
- July 26th, 1st day of practice with equipment
- July 31st, 1st weigh-in at Central Middle School Cafeteria from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for SRYA, please have your child there 1/2 hour before weigh in. DO NOT come to the scales until your organization is called. Players and coaches from each team are to come to the scales when it is time to weigh in. NO PARENTS ARE PERMITTED IN THE WEIGH IN AREA.
- August 15th, 2nd weigh in, at South River High School Cafeteria at 1:30 p.m.for SRYA, please have your child there 1/2 hour before weigh in. DO NOT come to the scales until your organization is called. Players and coaches from each team are to come to the scales when it is time to weigh in. NO PARENTS ARE PERMITTED IN THE WEIGH IN AREA.
- August 28th, Regular season begins
- September 1st, Final weigh in at Arundel Middle School
